Media assessment learner response

WWW- You start very strongly and show a good knowledge of media terminology and conventions. Now we need to maintain that level in the higher-mark questions.

EBI-Q8 and Q9 are holding you back. You need to ensure you focus on what the question is asking you and then write answers in real detail. Offering examples will also help.

Question 8,9 i didn't get the full marks i could have gotten in them.

Question 9. Charities use pictures of children in their advertisement as a consumer might show sympathy towards the child as children typically give connotations of pure language. They will most likely see denotations of a child suffering and would urge to take action in order to provide support for the child. Children have the inability to protect themselves and are most likely innocent so it would make the audience feel sympathy and take action towards it.
